Eventually Napping Make Short Age?

When tired, usually we will try to find time to sleep in between activities. Yes, indeed nap can reduce stress and increase energy. However, if too much, it can be dangerous.
According to researchers from Cambridge University, a nap is also a sign of health problems. They found that people who sleep too long during the duration are more likely to die at a young age.

According to them, a nap can almost be described as a science. If done in the right size, a nap can reduce fatigue so that when awakened body will feel refreshed. However, if too many naps, it would be counterproductive.

The researchers suggest that naps no longer than 30 minutes. The goal is to prevent the body goes into a deeper sleep phase. The study shows, someone who naps longer than an hour a day are 32 percent less likely to die at a young age.

The study, published in the American Journal of Epidemiology is involved more than 25,000 men and women in the UK aged 40-79 years. Of these participants, 16,000 of whom answered questions about their sleep habits and duration were categorized into two, more or less than an hour. Those who did not nap categorized as a control group.

Having followed for 13 years, participants who napped more than an hour to face a higher risk of dying due to various diseases, such as heart disease, cancer, and respiratory diseases. This relationship remained after researchers found include other factors, such as age, gender, social class, educational level, occupation, body mass index, level of physical activity, smoking, alcohol consumption, depression, drug use, sleep at night, and the sign- early signs of disease.

Even so, researchers noted no causal relationship between the two. However, they confirmed the link between the two may be very closely.

They write, nap done in a long time dealing with the health problems that remain undiagnosed. The reason is, people who suffered health problems generally get tired and sleepy.
